The Blogging Connection

Ever since we started this blog, we have found ourselves being interviewed for other blogs, magazines, and podcasts. We certainly did not expect this type of attention, but we are very grateful and we see it as an opportunity to better the logging industry throughout our state and our country.

Back in early Spring we were graciously interviewed for an article to be written for Northern Logger magazine. Steve Bjerklie, the author of the article, met us at the garage and we chatted about how we got started in social media and working on our website. We talked about being a small family business and so on. Check out the article below! Thank you so much to Northern Logger for writing such a nice piece about us.

In all honesty, the attention we have been receiving felt kind of embarrassing at first because we aren’t exactly the spotlight type of people. But, writing our blog and being active on social media has had some exciting and positive, but unintended results. Our goal when we set out with our blog was, and still is, to show potential clients a sneak peak into who we are. Since writing and being present on social media, we have connected with loggers, landowners, and others in the forest products industry throughout the country. It is fun to see how the internet can connect us all create a positive bond. We have been stopped by complete strangers at public events and thanked for writing about our industry. We write honestly and openly about our industry because we are passionate about its future. As we continue to write, we hope to continue bringing us together and supporting one another in the good fight! Thank you all for being a part of our lives!
